OUR MISSION
The Male Bag Foundation Ltd is focused firmly on men’s health:
To promote “awareness of, research into and equipment purchases to fight prostate cancer, through a not for profit foundation!”
Whilst capturing the spirit of adventure through our iconic Postie bike rides, the Male Bag Foundation raises awareness and funds for the fight against this insidious disease. More than 20,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in Australia this year, and around 3,300 will sadly lose their life to the disease.

EVENT
Saturday 19th March to Tuesday 22nd March 2022
Our iconic Postie bikes will leave Melbourne travelling through Shepparton, Swan Hill, Daylesford and returning to Melbourne. During this ride we aim to raise funds to support rural Australians.
Since 2013 The Male Bag Foundation has worked to uphold its major goals of raising awareness of prostate cancer and supporting men, women and families in rural areas of Australia to create more prostate cancer survivors. At the end of 2021 in rural Vic, SA and NSW 400 men a month were having safe, targeted, accurate prostate biopsies free from sepsis infections using the Transperineal Biopsy Machines ( TBM ) that were initiated and partly funded by The Male Bag Foundation.
Funds raised through his years ride will support hospitals in Shepparton and Hobart.
My Story
I have been doing these rides since 2013 and the 2022 Male Bag Ride will be my 8th. I believe we are saving lives firstly by spreading the word and getting men thinking about prostate cancer and then working with local communities to provide the much needed equipment for safe, targeted, accurate prostate biopsies.
100% of donations we receive goes directly to the provision of the equipment (TBM) that allows men to receive treatment in their regional public hospital. In the absence of a the TBM the biopsy the samples collected are totally random and the process often results in sepsis infections requiring extended treatment in hospital.
As The Male Bag Foundation is a registered not for profit charity your donation is fully tax deductible so please give generously. As they say every little bit helps, but bigger is better.
